What I keep, and why.

I ask for as little as I can get away with. Here's what that is, where it lives, and how to make it go away. No legalese marathon. Last updated October 16, 2026.

Short version

The whole thing in four lines.

  • I only collect what I need to run sessions and stay in touch.
  • I never sell your info, and I don't run ad trackers on this site.
  • A few trusted tools help me handle it. They're all named below.
  • Want something changed or deleted? Email rico@ricosol.co and it's done.

What I collect

Only what you hand me.

Email list and free sessions
Your name, email and which session you picked. That's how you get the Zoom link, reminders and the occasional email from me. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're out.
Booking a class
Your name and email, plus a name and email for each guest you bring, so everyone gets the address and a reminder. Payment happens on Stripe's checkout. Your card number never touches this site, and I never see it.
The waiver
Your name, email, an emergency contact (name, phone, and how you know them), your signature, the exact waiver text you agreed to, and when you signed it. I also save the internet address and browser your signature came from. That's the proof it was really you.
The contact form
Your name, email, the topic and whatever you write. It lands in my inbox, and I write back.
Instagram DMs
Message me a keyword on @ricosolofficial and an automated reply sends you a link back here. That chat lives on Instagram, and the reply runs through ManyChat. Nothing from it reaches me unless you sign up on the site.
Just looking around
I see simple visit counts: which pages get read, roughly where visitors are, what kind of device. No cookies, and nothing that tells me who you are.

Who helps

The crew behind the curtain.

I don't run my own servers. These companies handle parts of the job, and each one only gets what its part needs.

  • Kit sends my emails and keeps the email list.
  • Stripe takes payments and sends your receipt.
  • Supabase stores signed waivers and the class schedule.
  • Resend delivers contact form messages to my inbox.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks you're a human on the contact form, so I don't drown in spam bots. It looks at your browser to decide.
  • Vercel hosts the site and counts visits. Like any web host, it briefly logs basic request info, such as your internet address.
  • Instagram shows the video on the home page, and ManyChat sends the DM replies. Instagram may set its own cookies when that video loads.
  • Zoom runs the virtual sessions.

Each one has its own privacy policy, and they're all on their websites. If the law ever requires me to share something, I will. Otherwise, your info stays with me and this crew.

How long

Not forever.

  • Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete you.
  • Bookings and payments: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Waivers: as long as I might need to show you signed one. That can be a few years after your last session, so I may hold on to a waiver even after you ask me to delete everything else.
  • Contact messages: as long as they sit in my inbox.

Your call

See it, fix it, delete it.

Email rico@ricosol.co and ask what I have on you. I'll send it, fix what's wrong, or delete it (with the waiver exception above). I'll get back to you within 30 days, usually way sooner.

Your info is locked down: only the site's server and I can read waivers and bookings. No system is perfect, though. If something ever leaks, I'll tell you.

The fine print

A couple more things.

Sessions and this site are for adults, 18 and up. I don't knowingly collect info from anyone younger. If you think I have, tell me and I'll delete it.

If this page changes, I'll update the date at the top. Big changes get an email too.
